Acceptable Use Policy for Orbiq Trust Center Platform
Version 1.0 – Effective from 01 July 2025
Orbiq relies on our customers to responsibly use our services for legitimate business purposes.
This policy describes prohibited uses of Orbiq services and the Orbiq website. Capitalized terms used herein but not otherwise defined are defined in Orbiq’s Terms and Conditions.
By using the services or the website, you agree to comply with the latest version of this policy. Violating this policy, or authorizing or assisting others to violate it, may result in suspension or termination of your use of the services.
The examples described in this policy are not exhaustive. We may modify this policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Orbiq website.
We reserve sole and final discretion in determining whether certain uses violate this Acceptable Use Policy. You agree that our determination is final.
No Illegal, Harmful, or Offensive Use or Content
You may not use the services or the Orbiq website for illegal, harmful, or offensive purposes, nor encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to do so, nor transmit, store, display, distribute, or otherwise make available any content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive.
Prohibited activities or content include:
- Illegal Activities: Any illegal activity, including advertising, transmitting, or otherwise providing gambling sites or services, or distributing, promoting, or facilitating child pornography.
- Harmful or Fraudulent Activities: Activities that may harm others, our operations, or our reputation, including offering or distributing fraudulent goods, services, schemes, or promotions (e.g., get-rich-quick schemes, Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, phishing, or pharming) or participating in other fraudulent practices.
- Infringing Content: Content that infringes or misappropriates intellectual property rights or proprietary rights of others.
- Offensive Content: Content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable, including content depicting child pornography, bestiality, or non-consensual sexual acts.
- Harmful Content: Content or computer technology that could damage, disrupt, secretly intercept, or expropriate systems, programs, or data, including viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, or cancelbots.
- Terms of Third-party LLM Providers: The use of Orbiq's AI capabilities must not violate terms, policies, or other agreements of third-party LLM providers, including OpenAI’s Terms of Use, Sharing & Publication Policy, and Usage Policies.
No Regulatory Violations
To access your account or the services, you agree without limitation that your obligations (including those of your end users) include, among others: if you use the services to process regulated data, including but not limited to HIPAA PHI or EU GDPR personal data, you must have a valid, signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, EU GDPR Data Processing Agreement, or other applicable agreement with Orbiq, and have applied all required security configurations and controls to your account as specified in that agreement.
No High-Risk Activities
You agree not to use the services for high-risk activities, as defined in the Orbiq Terms and Conditions.
No Arms Trade
You agree not to use the services to process or store data subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations of the U.S. Department of State.
No Security Violations
You may not use the services to violate the security or integrity of networks, computers or communication systems, software applications, or network or computing devices (each a "System").
Prohibited activities include:
- Unauthorized Access: Accessing or using a System without permission, including attempts to probe, scan, or test a System’s vulnerability or breach its security or authentication measures.
- Interception: Monitoring data or traffic on a System without permission.
- Falsification of Origin: Forging TCP/IP packet headers, email headers, or any part of a message describing its origin or route. This prohibition does not include the use of aliases or anonymous remailers.
- Hacking: Interfering with the security-related functions of the services.
No Email or Message Abuse
You will not distribute, publish, send, or facilitate unsolicited mass emails or other messages, promotions, advertisements, or solicitations ("spam"), including commercial advertising and informational announcements. You will not modify or obscure email headers or assume a sender’s identity without the sender's explicit permission. You will not collect responses to messages sent by another internet service provider if those messages violate this policy or that provider’s acceptable use policy.
No Network Abuse
You may not establish TCP/IP network connections to Orbiq users, hosts, or networks, or cause Orbiq systems to establish connections to others, unless you have permission to communicate with them.
Prohibited activities include:
- Monitoring or Crawling: Monitoring or crawling a System that impairs or disrupts the monitored or crawled System.
- Denial of Service (DoS): Flooding a target with communications requests so that the target either cannot respond to legitimate traffic or responds so slowly that it becomes ineffective.
- Intentional Disruption: Interfering with the proper functioning of a System, including any deliberate attempt to overload a System through mail-bombing, news-bombing, broadcast attacks, or flooding techniques.
- Circumvention of System Restrictions: Using manual or electronic means to circumvent usage limitations imposed on a System, such as access and storage limitations.
- Malware: Uploading or otherwise distributing viruses, adware, spyware, worms, or other harmful code.
No Trolling
You agree not to:
- Access the services to assert intellectual property infringement claims against Orbiq or any of Orbiq’s affiliates, customers, suppliers, business partners, or licensors;
- Develop or create a competing product or service;
- Copy, modify, create derivative works, reverse-engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the services or any component thereof;
- Sublicense, resell, or distribute the services or any component thereof separate from an integrated application;
- Infringe the rights of third parties or encourage others to do so, including infringing or misappropriating third-party intellectual property rights;
- Post, upload, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, inaccurate, offensive, profane, indecent, pornographic, harassing, threatening, embarrassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content;
- Conduct fraudulent activities, including impersonating another person or entity, misrepresenting affiliation, falsely representing the source, identity, or content of transmitted information, accessing other service accounts without permission, or falsifying your age or date of birth;
- Assert or imply that outputs generated by AI were generated by humans.
